1. Fretboard Navigation, Mobile Dock, Share Links & Audio

Switching Necks (`C6` vs `E9`): Use the top-left switcher to toggle between the 10-string C6th neck (swing, jazz, extended chords) and E9th neck (country, diatonic pedal harmony). Each neck remembers its own active copedent and muted strings.

📱 Mobile Dock & Quick Controls: On phones and tablets (or anytime you click 📱 Dock in the header), a sticky bottom dock lets you toggle floor pedals and knee levers, strum the active fret, or stamp grips to the Tab Writer without scrolling away from the fretboard.

🔗 Shareable Links (Tab + Copedent): Click 🔗 Share in the top header to generate a custom URL link that preserves your exact custom Copedent, Tab Writer score, and active grip so you can bookmark or share arrangements with other players.

Muting Individual Strings: Click any string label (`S1`–`S10`) in the left-hand column of the fretboard to mute or unmute that string. Muted strings are excluded from chord voicings and strum playback.

Audible Pedal-Bend Glissando (`〰️ Bend Off / On`): Bends default to Off for clean reference auditioning. Click `〰️ Bend Off` in Card 3 to toggle bends On—strumming a grip or clicking a pedal-altered string will then start at the open-bar pitch and smoothly glide into the bent pitch.

Tuning Reference (`ET 440 Hz` vs `JI Sweet`): Toggle between standard 440 Hz Equal Temperament and Cabinet-Sweetened Just Intonation in Card 3. The live badge above the fretboard displays the exact note, octave, and frequency in Hz.

Gold Bass Anchor Ring (`⚓ B`): On any chord grip, the lowest-sounding note is highlighted with a gold ring and `B` badge so you always know which string anchors your bass voice.

2. Chords, Inversions, Bar Slants & Progression Sequencer

30 Chord Qualities & Reverse Fret Lookup: Select a Root and Quality in Card 1 to see every playable grip across Frets 0–11. Flip the Analyze Fret switch in Card 1 and click any fret column on the fretboard to run a reverse lookup of all chords available at that fret with your currently engaged pedals.

⚓ Bass Note & Inversions Filter: Expand Bass Note & Inversions in Card 1 to lock voicings to Root Position, 1st Inversion (3rd in Bass), 2nd Inversion (5th in Bass), 3rd Inversion (7th in Bass), or any specific Slash Bass Note (e.g., `C/G` or `Dm7/G`). Any strings pitched below your target bass note are automatically trimmed.

🛝 Bar Slants (`±1` to `±2` Frets): Check Include Bar Slants in Card 1 to include 2- and 3-string Forward Slants (`╱`) and Reverse Slants (`╲`) spanning 1 or 2 frets. Slant grip cards display horizontally offset string rows with individual fret numbers (`F3`, `F4`, `F5`) and highlight the exact slanted cells on the fretboard.

🧭 Progressions & Minimal-Bar-Movement Sequencer: Switch to Progressions mode and type any lead-sheet chart (including slash chords like `Cmaj7 | Cmaj7/B | Am7 | Am7/G | Dm7/F | G7/B | C6`). The engine computes the smoothest voice-leading path across pedals and levers, with one-click playback and `+ Send Path to Tab Writer`.

3. Scales Mode: 5-Fret Scale Pockets & Harmonized String Pairs

25 Scales & Modes: Includes all 7 Diatonic Major modes, all 7 Melodic Minor modes (including Lydian Dominant and Altered), Major/Minor Pentatonics, Minor & Country Blues scales, Harmonic Minor/Major, Phrygian Dominant, Bebop scales, Whole Tone, and Diminished scales.

📦 5-Fret Scale Pockets: Finds complete 5-fret boxes (`Root Fret ± 2 frets`) where every degree of the selected scale is available without moving the bar more than 2 frets. Click any pocket card to highlight its 5-fret zone on the neck and hear the ascending scale run.

🛤️ Harmonized String Pairs & Triads: Switch the Scale Explorer View to Harmonized Pairs and choose a target string group (e.g., `Strings 3 & 5`, `Strings 5 & 6`, or `Strings 4·5·6`). The engine maps out all 7 harmonized scale degrees (`I, ii, iii, IV, V, vi, vii°`) horizontally up the neck using your active copedent's pedals and levers.

4. 🔍 Interactive Grip & Voicing Analyzer

Build Any Grip on the Neck: Switch to 🔍 Grip Analyzer, toggle any combination of floor pedals and knee levers in Card 2, and click individual notes on the fretboard to toggle them in or out of your grip. You can click notes on adjacent frets to analyze bar slants.

Slide Your Grip Up/Down the Neck: Click any Fret Number (`0–24`) in the fretboard header—or use the `◀ -1f` / `+1f ▶` buttons—to slide your entire selected string pattern while keeping relative slant offsets intact.

Direct Matches vs. Rootless & Slash Voicings: The analyzer separates results into 🎯 Direct Chord & Inversion Matches (where the root is present in your grip) and 🎷 Rootless & Slash-Chord Interpretations (showing what extended 9th/11th/13th chord your grip forms when a bass player supplies an external root). Click any match card to re-color your fretboard notes under that chord's harmonic lens.

5. ✍️ 10-String Tab Writer & 🎹 MIDI-to-Steel Converter

Stack Beat vs. Auto-Advance: In Stack Beat mode, clicking multiple strings on the fretboard stacks them into a chord on the active beat column; click Next Beat ➔ to advance. In Auto-Advance mode, each fretboard click automatically advances to the next beat for fast single-note lead lines.

Slides, Pedal Bends & Partial Ties (`🔗 Carry Tied (+Morph)`): Choose an articulation (`♪ Pluck`, `🛝 Slide`, `↗ Pedal Bend`, `↘ Pedal Release`, `🔗 Partial Tie`) before clicking the fretboard, or click `🔗 Carry Tied (+Morph)` (shortcut `T`) to carry a held chord into the next beat as tied notes, toggle a pedal in Card 2, and click `⚡ Morph` so only the pedal-changed strings bend while the other strings remain tied!

🎹 MIDI In & Virtual Piano Converter: Click 🎹 MIDI In in the header to connect a USB MIDI keyboard or use the on-screen Virtual Piano (`C2–E5`). Play any single note or chord and the solver finds every ergonomic fret + pedal/lever position on your active neck, letting you audition alternatives or stamp them straight into the Tab Writer.

Exporting Your Tab: Use the bottom bar of the Tab Writer to play back your arrangement at any BPM, export a standard `.MID` file, copy clean ASCII Tab for forums, or open the print view.

🖐️ Right Hand Workout (`T · I · M · R`): Practice 24 4-string and 120 5-string picking permutations (4-finger and 3-finger) transposed to any string group on your active neck, fret, and pedal state. Enable Dual Card (2x) to practice transitions between two patterns, use the built-in Metronome and 🔊 Hear Roll synth, build a Custom Playlist in the Permutation Gallery, or stamp any roll into the Tab Writer.

🎯 Quiz Trainer & ⏱️ Time Trial Blitz: Choose between Progressive Levels (1–4), Custom Practice across 6 pedagogical drills (Fretboard Note Radar, String Target Finder, Copedent Mechanic, Chord Grip Anatomy, Same-Fret Pedal Pivots, and Ear Dictation), or ⏱️ Time Trial (Blitz) where your score, accuracy, streak, and Questions-Per-Minute (QPM) are saved to the persistent 🏆 Scoreboard.

Instant Artist Presets: Use the Preset dropdown inside Card 2 (or open ⚙️ Copedent) to switch between 16 E9th setups (Buddy Emmons, Jimmy Day, Paul Franklin, Tommy White, Lloyd Green, John Hughey, Bobby Lee, Jeff Newman, Jack Stoner, etc.) and 11 C6th setups.

Half-Stops & Tunable Splits: Levers with physical half-stops (such as E9th `RKR ½` lowering String 2 by `-1` semitone to `D4`, and `RKR Full` lowering String 2 by `-2` semitones to `C#4` plus String 9 by `-1` semitone to `C#3`) automatically appear on the rack as separate `½` and `Full` buttons.
